Thanks to all of you who have submitted your links to your blogs. I've read through the first batch and am quite impressed with the level of creativity. If you take a look at the blogs that I'm following, you'll see other students' progress. Take a look around. I'd like everyone to follow everyone, as we will start to share our blogs for greater discussion.
As for the content of the blogs, I think we need a little clarification. Firstly, most blogs were written with great style, voice, and skill. Some were very convincing, entertaining, and educational.
One section that all blogs need to work on is the Opposition paragraph. Some blogs did contain opposing viewpoints, but the paragraph was not clearly defined. Be sure to lead each paragraph off with a mini-thesis that lets the reader know what they're getting into. If you are opening up a paragraph about the opposition (those who oppose some action, or those who may oppose your own view), be sure to identify them right away. We will discuss this further in class.
Keep up the good work. We've got lots of stories hot off the presses to discuss.
